NOTICE

No.I It is for the general information of all Advocates that Advocates who take
notice(s) in LPA cases on behalf of respondent(s) can obtain copy/copies of LP
A petitions from the Registry. Advocates who require such copies may contact c
oncerned Assistant Registrar in this behalf and get the relevant copies after f
iling up the prescribed form available with the Assistant Registrar/Reader conc
erned.

No.II All Fresh matter(s) for Admission/Orders shall be listed before the each
Bench regardless of the roster in equal proportion. After notice is issued in
these matter(s), those shall be, thereafter, listed before the Bench holding th
e roster.

No.III Besides the above mentioned matters any other matter may be listed befor
e the Benches, which Hon’ble The Chief Justice may direct.

No.IV Mentioning for listing of urgent matters in the two wings of the Hon’ble
High Court shall henceforth be made before the Benches holding the roster at 10
:30 a.m. However where the same roster is held by two or more Hon’ble Judges,
these memos shall be placed for orders before the Senior Most Judge. If reque
st for urgent listing / hearing of case (s) is allowed, same shall be listed in
the supplementary cause list. Caveat, if any, filed shall be distinctively me
ntioned in the Regular / Supplementary Cause List, so that the Caveator remains
vigilant to pursue his side of the case.

No.V It is notified for information of all the concerned/advocates/dealing hand
s of the Registry to ensure that Annexures with the Petition, the spare sets, c
ounter and objections filed at the Counter shall be legible. In case the photo
copy of the documents is not legible, typed written copies of the documents be
also annexed.

No.VI A separate cause list of the cases fixed before Registrar (Judicial) has
been issued alongwith this cause list. All Advocates and parties concerned are
requested to file Registered Covers, Fresh Particulars & other needful shown i
n the remarks column of the list within 15 days before Registrar (Judicial), fa
iling which matter shall be listed before the Court for appropriate orders.

No.VII As required under rule 2(c) of the J&K High Court Writ Proceeding Rules
1997, all concerned are required to specifically mention in the memo of writ pe
tition that the petitioner has not presented any other petition, civil suit or
any other proceeding(s) in any Court including the Supreme Court of India, for
the same cause of action, himself or through some other person.

No.VIII Cases listed in the Weekly Cause List before the Registrar Judicial sha
ll be taken up in the Office Room of Assistant Registrars concerned after 10:30
a.m. on the date fixed however, a party showing Notice / Summons etc. to the s
ecurity personnel shall be allowed entry upto Assistant Registrar’s Room for th
is purpose. Clerks of the Advocates may also be permitted entry for this purpo
se if in prescribed dress / uniform and on displaying / showing ID Card to the
security personnel.

No.IX It is notified for the information of all concerned that the list of bo
oks proposed to be relied upon by the Advocates during the course of arguments
in the cases listed before Hon’ble Division Bench / Single Bench be provided to
the Court Staff (the Restorer concerned) before the start of the proceedings o
f a day so that the Staff can arrange the books and keep them ready for perusal
of the Hon’ble Division Bench / Single Bench.
