NOTICE

No.I It is for the general information of all Advocates that Advocates who tak
e notice(s) in LPA cases on behalf of respondent(s) can obtain copy/copies of L
PA petitions from the Registry. Advocates who require such copies may contact
concerned Assistant Registrar in this behalf and get the relevant copies after
filing up the prescribed form available with the Assistant Registrar/Reader con
cerned.

No.II All Fresh matter(s) coming by way of Daily Supplementary List shall be l
isted as per the roster.

No.III Besides above, any other matter may be listed before the Benches, which
Hon’ble The Chief Justice may direct.

No.IV Mention for listing of urgent matters in the two wings of the Hon’ble Hi
gh Court shall be be made before the Benches dealing with the roster. However,
where the same roster is held by two or more Hon’ble Judges, then memos shall
be placed for orders before the senior most Judge. If request for urgent listin
g / hearing of case(s) is allowed, the same shall be listed in the Supplementar
y Cause List. Caveat, if any, filed shall be distinctively mention in the Regu
lar / Supplementary Cause List.


No.V All PILs and matters concerning environment shall be listed before a Benc
h headed by Hon’ble The Chief Justice or the senior most Judge at the concerned
wing.

No.VI It is notified for information of all the concerned/advocates/dealing ha
nds of the Registry to ensure that Annexures with the Petition, the spare sets,
counter and objections filed at the Counter shall be legible. In case the pho
to copy of the documents is not legible, typed written copies of the documents
be also annexed.

No.VII A separate cause list of the cases fixed before Registrar (Judicial) has
been issued along with this cause list. All Advocates and parties concerned a
re requested to file Registered Covers, Fresh Particulars & other needful shown
in the remarks column of the list within 15 days before Registrar (Judicial),
failing which matter shall be listed before the Court for appropriate orders.

No.VIII As required under rule 2(c) of the J&K High Court Writ Proceeding Rules
1997, all concerned are required to specifically mention in the memo of writ p
etition that the petitioner has not presented any other petition, civil suit or
any other proceeding(s) in any Court including the Supreme Court of India, for
the same cause of action, himself or through some other person.

No.IX Cases listed in the Weekly Cause List before the Registrar Judicial shal
l be taken up in the Office Room of Assistant Registrars concerned after 10:30
a.m. on the date fixed however, a party showing Notice / Summons etc. to the se
curity personnel shall be allowed entry upto Assistant Registrar’s Room for thi
s purpose. Clerks of the Advocates may also be permitted entry for this purpos
e if in prescribed dress / uniform and on displaying / showing ID Card to the s
ecurity personnel.

No.X It is notified for the information of all concerned that the list of bo
oks proposed to be relied upon by the Advocates during the course of arguments
in the cases listed before Hon’ble Division Bench / Single Bench be provided to
the Court Staff (the Restorer concerned) before the start of the proceedings o
f a day so that the Staff can arrange the books and keep them ready for perusal
of the Hon’ble Division Bench / Single Bench.
